Last weekend saw the doors swing open for the 4th year running of the St Wetburghs Arts Trail. No.18 played host to 4 different artists. With the enphasis on print, Amber Elise decorated every wall with her stunning pictures and querky characters. Reuben Whitehouse and Jess Herbert’s work was graphic, bold and striking, whilst I opted for a different aproach this time by painting a set of 1950’s plates. The show also included work by photographer Tanya Moulson.
The chance to exhibit work out of a gallery setting was a refreshing change and it allowed people to drop in and take a look around in the comfort of someones home, music playing, wine flowing a great day was had by all!
